Kang Sung Hoon is a Korean sculptor, he received BFA degree from Suwon University, Suwon in 2005, and then a MFA degree in Sungshin Women’s University, Seoul in 2012, both majored in Sculpture. Kang Sung Hoon’s works have been featured in the national and international-scale art exhibitions, and he became a household name upon receiving awards and his works being collected by prestigious institutions.Kang Sung Hoon’s works depicts the dynamic in movements, often in animals. Kang Sung Hoon’s managed to generate the beautiful and highly-aesthetic movement in his works though using static material like metal or copper wire. His works come off as expressive, with aspects of semi-representational abstract, making his works full of spirit and energy within his impeccable skills in managing spaces and compositions.
