Yawara loves to use textiles-particularly patchworks because in most cases it would just turn to waste. Yawara sees the potential in patchworks, especially Batik textiles, since Batik is a high-end textile with high aesthetic value. Seeing this potential , Yawara then combines any pieces she could manage to find into an artwork, by doing this up-cycle, Yawara wishes she would reinstate the value in this soon-to-be-waste, as well as bringing it the appreciation it deserves.
